FREE LANGUAGE COURSES FOR FUTURE ERASMUS PARTICIPANTS
Erasmus+ Language Courses 2026/2027
The University Erasmus+ Programme Coordinator, the Department of International Projects, and the Foreign Language Teaching Centre (CNJO) of the Medical University of Łódź invite students and doctoral students planning to participate in the Erasmus+ Programme to take part in free language courses.
The courses will be offered in the following languages: English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian.
The aim of the courses is to help participants prepare for the language examination and their mobility abroad for studies or traineeships under the Erasmus+ Programme.
The courses are intended for participants who have at least a B1 level of proficiency in the chosen language. The exception is the Italian A1 group, which is intended for participants with basic knowledge of Italian.

Each course consists of 20 hours of classes.
Classes will take place at the Foreign Language Teaching Centre (CNJO), 253 Pomorska Street, Building U1, 3rd floor.
Language Examination Dates
The examination dates will be arranged after the courses begin. The following dates are planned:
- First examination session: 25–29 January 2027
- Second examination session: 8–12 February 2027
Please note that these dates are provisional and may be subject to change.
Important Information Regarding Language Examination Registration
- You may register for only one examination session per language.
- You may take examinations in several languages, choosing an available session for each language. For example, you may take the English examination in the first session, the Spanish examination in the second session, and the German examination in the first session.
- Please check your selected examination dates and times carefully to ensure that the examinations do not overlap.
- No additional examination sessions will be organised this year!

Registration is conducted via a Microsoft Forms form.

WELCOME DAY 2025
On Monday, 30th of September 2025, we warmly welcomed our Erasmus+ Students, incoming for studies at the Medical University of Lodz for academic year 2025/2026.
The Welcome Day took place at MUL Library at Muszyńskiego street 2 and was designed to help foreign students to acclimatize to their new academic environment.
We started with a speech of our Departmental Erasmus Coordinator and Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Studies in English – Prof. Sebastian Kłosek.
After that, there was a short presentation about history of MUL. Students received information about the University’s structure, available courses and opportunities.
Then, all Erasmus students supported by their Buddies attended the Polish language lesson which helped them to understand the language and the local culture.
After the official part and short coffee break, all participants went for a short City tour with the final photo at Manufaktura.
We truly believe that Welcome Day helped the incoming students to feel more comfortable during their first day at Medical University and thanks to all activities during the event they are now better integrated with their new Polish Buddies.
Erasmus+ exam dates in the academic year 2024/25
You can only register for each language on one date. No corrections! The exam lasts 60 minutes.
Please take your ID document (ID card or student ID) with you to the exam.

WELCOME DAY
On Monday, September 30th, we welcomed our new Erasmus+ Students, incoming for studies at the Medical University of Lodz for academic year 2024/2025.
This year we organized for them a special inauguration called Welcome Day.
The symbolic celebration took place at MUL Library, at Muszyńskiego street 2 and was divided into parts.
We started with a speech of our Institutional Coordinator, Prof. Jacek Rożniecki.
Then, there was a short presentation about history of MUL and Polish language lesson for all participants.
After the official part and short coffee break, all the Students were divided into 3 groups and supported by their Buddy’s went for the City-based Game.
The final meeting point was in Manufaktura where the culmination of a successful day was a group photo.
FREE LANGUAGE COURSES FOR FUTURE ERASMUS STUDENTS 2024/2025
The University Coordinator of the Erasmus Program, the Department of International Relations and the Foreign Language Teaching Center of the Medical University invite students and PhD students who intend to take part in the Erasmus + Program to participate in free language courses. The courses will be conducted in the following languages: English, German, French, Spanish and Italian.
The aim of the courses is to prepare you to pass the language exam and go for studies or internships under the Erasmus + Program. The courses are addressed to student’s who know the language at least B1 level and, in the case of the A1 group, at a basic level of Italian.
Registration for courses is accepted by e-mail by sending the „Candidate form for participation in a language course” available on the website of the Medical University of Lodz in the International Relation Department tab.
We send applications between October 1, 2024 and October 14, 2024 by 11:00 a.m. to the following e-mail addresses:
